"Hi again...I had a retail shop (clothing, gifts, jewelry, etc.), for about a year and a half. The economy started to tank, and I had to close for a number of reasons. It was an invaluable experience, though. I have sold on Etsy & Ebay with moderate…"

"Thank you for the welcome and for providing this site! I'm in the Southeast US as well (N.C.). Knitted accessories are my passion, so finding a cold-weather market is a challenge."

  • HI,Have a nice day.
  • Hi Allison, I love your work!
  • Allison - thanks for the explanation. Sorry to hear that sales are slower then you would have liked. Stick with it.. Things are bound to improve if you continue to put in the effort. Maybe you can find some retailers to sell to on my other website. You can go to the clothing store section. You may want to look into buying a salesman guide (book with buyers names and contact details). I have a section of those on the site as well. The bad part of that, is the books are not free... You may want to just contact the stores and ask for buyer details instead. The guides are good, but maybe going the free method is better for now.
  • Thank you for your comments.. The good thing about the internet is that you can search for the cold climate... Even thought it is not cold by you, you can find people in the north looking for your product. You mention you are a "previous" shop owner. Do you still sell online?
