Hi my lovely fashion extremist friends,
I always wanted to be a designer. I wanted to design unusual clothes because I always thought there are lots of usual clothes available and I want to do something different but then I always thought hmmm who is going to buy unusual stuff? What I noticed these days is that people are fed up with normal styles and going extreme and I am enjoying it. Just take Lady Gaga, everybody loves her ,her style is hmmm, I cant even find a word!
Shoes with no heels, shoes with weird heels, big shoulder pads, lots of layers and draping that I don't know why till now nobody ever comes with the idea of design clothes like that. Like Alber Elbaz's designs(Lanvin) or Viktor & Rolf.
I am in love with Viktor & Rolf's creations. Just take a look at their Spring 2011 collection and I am sure you will fall in love with their works too. Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren are co-founders of Viktor & Rolf fashion house which is base in Amsterdam. (One of my fav cities in the world)
