Diamonds… A lasting legacy of admiration and beauty! While it’s true a diamond is the symbol of love and wealth, it has recently become the center of attention as being derived from mayhem and atrocity. Although the latter is true to a point of known facts, it clearly doesn’t reflect the industry as a whole. Any item that creates wealth from a position of value or even perceived value is not without some form of dark history. My view into this industry is heartfelt as any human being with conscious righteousness.I’m asked more than enough times about why I use diamonds on my watches and don’t I realize I’m contributing to the conflict that takes place in the diamond industry. I will address this question and make observations among other significant areas of question as well. First I’d like to say that I purchase my diamonds from reputable distributors like the majority of business’ do. But can I tell you that I know where the diamonds actually come from? That answer is clearly no I cannot. I have to trust what my suppliers tell me, what more can I do or any other legitimate business involved in jewelry design do?
