You simply can't miss the Chinese faces popping up across international glossies, ad campaigns, and the catwalks.

It's time to get to know some of the faces you will likely see a lot more of! Here are hottest faces of China, Urbanatomy's profile of China's top 10 fashion models:


1. Liu Wen
Unquestionably a supermodel, the queen of the runways and an international favorite, the 22-year-old Liu Wen achieved many career milestones as a model, especially for an Asian. She was named the first Asian face for Estée Lauder and the face of Calvin Klein, the first to strut for Victoria’s Secret, appeared in numerous glossies including covers of Chinese Vogue and Elle, and made her Paris runway debut in 2008 for Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier. Walking an impressive 70 shows in the spring 2010 season, she is the second most booked model in the world after France’s Constance Jablonski. Liu Wen was first discovered in the New Silk Road World model contest (she didn't win) by French Marie Claire creative director Joseph Carle.



2. Qin Shupei
The 20-year-old Qin Shupei is the face of Maybelline in Asia. Her lucrative deal has elevated her to the ranks of actress Zhang Ziyi and Christy Turlington. No stranger to the runways, she has done shows for Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood and John Galliano. "Last year, Qin donned the classic jeans and white shirt for Gap and landed the covers of the Chinese editions of Vogue and Elle in September – fashion’s holy month. She has a keen survival instinct, too. After witnessing other models trip in their dangerously high stilettos at the Burberry Prosrum spring 2010 show, she simply slipped off her shoes and confidently completed her strides barefoot."



3. Mo Wandan
The 22-year-old Guangdong-born Mo Wandan has smitten designers. She appeared in John Galliano’s 2007 couture show. Giorgio Armani proclaimed her as “the most beautiful model in Asia” in 2008. She won the China Model Star Contest in 2004.



4. Feifei Sun
The 21-year-old known as ‘Feifei’ has graced the covers of Chinese Elle and Marie Claire. Tall with "pillow lips and thick eyebrow." You know she was headed to international stardom when Karl Lagerfeld handpicked her for the Chanel-Paris runway show in Shanghai. Recently she was named the model ambassador of Shanghai Fashion Week in 2010.



5. Ming Xi
The 20-year-old Shanghainese Ming Xi was signed by Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci after finishing in the top 15 of the Elite Model Look competition. In her professional modeling debut, she walked exclusively for the Givenchy label in their spring 2010 couture show. She is the first Chinese rep for the brand and is featured in Givenchy's fall ad campaign. Ming also graced the fall 2010 runway shows for Jil Sander and Christian Dior.



6. Kiki Kang
This 20-year-old from Sichuan has been compared to supermodel Cindy Crawford with her "sensual mouth and trademark mole." Karl Lagerfeld handpicked her for the Fendi 2007 show on the Great Wall. She was on the cover of Vogue China last month.



7. Miao
The 21-year-old Si Miaobin, known as Miao, is quickly making a name for herself. She has appeared in fashion spreads in Chinese Vogue and Grazia, and ad campaigns for Benetton and Guess.



8. Sonny Zhou
The 27-year-old Shanghainese beauty was the first model from the Chinese mainland to sign with New York’s IMG, the world’s top model management company. Her modeling career has taken off with campaigns for Revlon, L’Oreal, and Shanghai Tang. She was most recently in the US edition of Marie Claire’s September issue.



9. Danni Li
From Dandong in northeastern China, 23-year-old Danni got her first lucky break in 2005 when she entered the Global Chinese Beauty Competition as a last-minute substitute and ended up winning the competition. Praised for her long shapely legs, she has walked for Armani and Dior.



10. Amber Xu
A splitting image of the famous Chinese actress Maggie Cheung, Amber, a native of Yantai in Shandong Province, is very popular in Hong Kong. Extremely able, she is her own booking agent in mainland China and have gotten herself into Chinese Vogue and Elle and landed herself as the new face of Shanghai Tang. Internationally, she recently walked for Christian Dior.
