 I often search for vintage fabrics or prints that I like and rework/customize them
 I buy a lot of vintage clothing but I like to mix and match with highstreet pieces
 I only buy the odd vintage item but mostly shop on the highstreet
 I appreciate vintage clothing but it just isn’t me so I don’t wear it

 I love the atmosphere of visiting jumble sales and being able to have a good rummage
 I love finding that special something that will make any outfit unique
 There is a lack of creativity amongst the highstreet and everyone wears the same things whereas vintage fashion allows me to be individual

 It is very popular at the moment and everybody is wearing it, even highstreet retailers are doing their own vintage lines

i've purchased and sold vintage clothing/accessories and jewelry for years.
a vintage piece has to be exquisite: either in design, silhouette, construction and print.
i love that i have sourced incredible vintage pieces at literally, give away prices.
dior handbag circa 1976 ..$8.00
cartier vintage love bracelets..$1000.and $1100. respectively.
alligator handbags..for $5.00
azzedine alaia from the 80's for $30.00
prisitine female mink coat $ 75.00
gold heart pin pierced with a natural pearl $5.00
pristine leopard coat from the early 1960's $25.00

true vintage to me is an item from the 1960's and earlier.

i love vintage because of the quality & uniqueness.

the price certainly has changed over the years as more people try to cash in on the trend.
so one must find more creative ways to source true vinatge finds.

one need a very good eye with vintage to know when an item is a true 'find'.
