Realizing the main inspiration for this ten-piece Givenchy Couture collection came from cutting edge science fiction flicks from the 1920’s, it became obvious designer Riccardo Tisci wanted to explore the more futuristic side of his creativity. Jewel encrusted gowns, Art Deco trim and crocodile ornamentation were all part of the collections highlights, while the meticulous detail on each dress (350 hours to make one croc frock) was astounding.
