Shoes fall under the label of accessory in fashion industry lingo – and as with every accessory, you have to pay close attention to changes in trends regarding them, because last years hit are this year miss often, very often, too often when it comes to my wallet.

In this blog post, I will give you a list of shoe types or styles you should keep your eye on for this summer 2017 season.

I have made this list by close observation of fashion being sold in stores, worn by everyday people, and promoted by celebrities.

1. Suede everything

No matter the style of the shoes, this season you can not go wrong if you buy suede shoes. The Suede trend has started a season or two back, but only recently has reached the shoe area of the fashion industry.

2. Slides

Yes, you have read it well, sliders are actually a fashionable thing to wear this summer – who would have thought that shoe that once was 1st on every ''fashion crime'' list will make such a loud and creative comeback? You can find slides in every single design possible, and every single relevant fashionista has worn them by this time..

3. Two part heeled sandals

These babies are usually called ''ballroom'' sandals because, well dancers like wearing them – they have not been a thing since early 2000's – but as 2000's fashion is making a runaround, and so are they. Two part heeled sandals are very feminine and elegant shoes but can be tricky to walk in if you can't walk on long and narrow heels they come usually with.

4. Tie leg ballet flats

There is no more convenient summer shoe than a ballet flat – but as they have been such a huge thing a few seasons ago, people got little bored with them. Here our designers come to the scene and add a flair of elegance to them by attaching a band with wich you can tie them around your leg …and its a trend for the season. Good job designers..

5. Kitten heels

Another blast from the past has made it's way to the shoe trends of 2017 list! Just like two part heeled sandals, kitten heels were huge in early 00's and are becoming a big deal now – numerous celebrities have expressed their love for them, such as Taylor Swift (who seems to be their huge fan ) or most fashionable twins among celeb designers, the Olsens.

5. Wedges

Wedges are a great option for those who are not most stable in high heels but like the effect, high heels have on one's looks. Wedges this season just like most shoes from this list are mostly inspired by early 00's fashion.

7. Espadrilles

Espadrilles are holding on to trend lists for another year in a row, the difference is, now they come in even more designs, so it's even more, fun for all of us who love this shoes.

8. Metallics

What all the shoes mentioned above have in common is the fact that they are preferred to be METALLIC. This season metallic shoes are a must if you want to be trendy.
