The model, TV presenter and former Miss Universe winner popped in for the fish of the day on Wednesday, before happily posing with diner Beau LeFort.

Hawkins is in Denmark’s Elephant Rocks, on the South Coast of WA, shooting Myer’s spring summer 2015-2016 campaign.

After a season in the tropics, retailer Myer has returned to Australian shores to shoot its latest spring/summer fashion campaign, starring Hawkins.

Having shot last year’s campaign in Fiji, the department store chose Elephant Rocks, about 420km south of Perth, to showcase its new-season wares.

Their visit caused quite a stir among its 2000-odd residents.

“Last night we went to the tavern, we had some pub food — the whole crew went there, it was fun,” Hawkins, 31, said on Wednesday.

Denmark Tavern manager Nicole Farr said the crew’s arrival in town had caused a pandemonium.

“It was a bit of a shock,” she said. “Tuesday night’s generally low-key for us — we did have a ladies’ darts competition on at the time.

“We were very run off our feet but it was good to have them come in.”

The Myer face — who recently posed in new-season designs by Alex Perry, By Johnny and the store’s latest addition, Aje — said the 1970s trend was far from over.

“I love flares, lots of layering, and black and white is in as well for spring,” Hawkins said.
