Prada's Pop-up club: The Double Club
The most fashionable dancing and dining experience in 2009 promises to be Prada's pop-up bar/club/restaurant in EC1, The Double Club. Fondazione Prada have collaborated with artist Carsten Holler to create this space where the West meets the Congo. Holler was inspired by the music and style of the Congolese party tribes known as Sapeurs. Expect an out of this world venue; there's a sci-fi mural by Russian architect Georgi Krutikow, a two-way mirror between the bar and the dancefloor, original Victorian cobblestones in the courtyard and the restaurant floor features alternating African hardwood and French Brasserie tiles.

The Double Club is on 7 Torrens Street EC1 and is open until May 2009.
