September 9th and the beginning of New York Fashion Week are just around the corner. Indeed, the event's preliminary set-up at it's new home, Lincoln Center, is set to start this week. But instead of setting up tents, NYFW organizer IMG finds itself drawing up battle plans in what could be a debilitating union fight.

The Local One of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, a keystone union group in New York City events production, plans tohold an emergency meeting this morning to discuss where the tents willbe set up and who will be working at the bi-annual event this fall.
