Kosan, Daniels Wedding

Jennifer Charlene Kosan and James Joseph Daniels were united in marriage on June 4, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Dothan. Doctor Paul Thompson officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Kosan of Dothan and the granddaughter of Rev. T.C. Harty, the late Elizabeth Harty and the late Ruby Harty and Mrs. Flo Kosan and the late Andy Kosan.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Daniels of Newton. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Daniels and the late Mr. Odis and Mrs. Janice Moore.

A program of music was presented by pianist Mrs. Sylvia Thornton and guitarist Reverend Steve Chambers, both of Dothan. Vocalists were Mrs. Kate Parrish of Dothan and Reverend Steve Chambers.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a diamond white sleeveless imperial satin gown with an alcenon lace tulle overlay with a sweetheart neckline. The fit and flare gown featured a high illusion back complete with covered buttons and a court length train. She completed the look with a beaded lace bridal sash and pearl headpiece. The bride carried a bouquet of sunflowers, purple stock, light orange/pink roses, white hydrangea, light blue delphinium, hot pink spray rose, red alstroemeria, queen annes lace, assorted eucalyptus and greenery wrapped in ivory lace.

Maid of honor was the bride's cousin, Jessica Wood of Dothan. Serving as bridesmaids were cousin of the bride, Kelly Wood of Nokesville, Virginia, sister of the groom, Brandi Daniels of Montgomery, Alabama and Madeline Collins of Dothan.

Bestman was father of the groom, Tony Daniels of Newton, Alabama. Serving as groomsmen were cousin, Kenny Horton of Newton, brother of the bride, Stephen Kosan of Dothan and Chris Burch of Dothan. The Ushers were Elliot Jones and Josh Jeffcoat.

Following the ceremony the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Dothan Country Club. On Friday night the groom's parents entertained the wedding party and guests with a rehearsal dinner at the newlywed's home.

After a honeymoon trip, the couple will reside in Dothan.
