Fashion Jobs Available

The economic slow down negatively effects the employment rate in every industry under the sun. However, this does not mean that jobs do not exist. This simply means that job opportunities are more sparse. In addition you may find more competition for each available position. However, it is important to understand that if you look hard enough you will learn that fashion jobs are available. Although the Apparel Search Company is not hiring, Apparel Search does provide a few resources that may help you locate your next job. My first suggestion is to go the the fashion jobs section on Apparel Search and then visit the Fashion Employment Agency section. If I was unemployed, that would be the first place that I would turn. The theory is that the agencies receive payment from the employer after the employer hires an employee. In other words, the employment agency makes money by getting you a job. Therefore, they really "want" to get you a job. You can also search for jobs at the following employment sites (which are also owned by Apparel Search) clothing industry jobs, fashion job search, and the apparel jobs site. You should also check with resources such as the WWD and DNR. Obviously, could not hurt to check Monster.com and HotJobs.com as well. In the current employment environment, it is important that you do NOT lose hope. Although times are tight, the fact is that you will find fashion jobs available. You may have to hunt a bit more and interview harder, but the jobs are currently available. It would be a good idea to also check out Monster.com, Hot Jobs, and Career Builder. Dress well, and head off to those interviews.
