Cotton
Cotton is probably the most used fabrics, it breathes and it’s natural -- plus it’s super cheap.

When to wear cotton
Cotton is versatile but don’t wear it at the gym. Since the material is absorbent, it will collect all your sweat and get uncomfortable.

Spandex

Often combined with other materials, spandex contours the body and is very durable

When to wear spandex

Spandex is ideal at the gym or for any physical activity -- it’s very popular for cyclist because of its total elasticity.

Polyester

Made in labs (like all synthetic fabrics), polyester is thin and comfy. It holds colors better than cotton and one of the most common in the industry.

When to wear polyester

Because it’s thin and stretchy, polyester is perfect under your favorite skinny jeans. However, it’s not super absorbent so it doesn’t fair well in warmer weather.

Nylon
One of the most popular synthetic fiber, Nylon is super soft and keeps colors well -- so you know it will last.

When to wear it nylon

Nylon will be great at the gym. Just beware that it can sometimes create wet spots in warm weather (especially on lighter colors, like khaki).

Modal

This is the softest fabric around the block. Modal is a manufactured fiber.

When to wear it modal
A little less supportive than nylon or cotton, modal gives enough support to be comfortable under
jeans or a suit.

Lace
Lace is a delicate fabric made of yarn or thread in an open weblike pattern. It is mostly used in lingerie and erotic underwear.

When to wear it lace
Wear lace whenever you feel frivolous. Since it’s a very delicate fabric,  keep it in the bedroom to make your sexy times last forever.
