3)Technical Package or Tech Pack
Your Tech Pack is the essential tool used to tell the production team how to make your item the way you want it to appear.
4) The Pattern
The pattern is the physical foundation of your product. It is the product deconstructed into all the separate pieces used to build your fashion item.
5) Muslin and Fitting
After the technical side is completed, the prototype or first draft of the fashion item is made. It’s called a muslin.
6) Sample
The techniques of sewing are essential and which technique is used depends on the ornamentation or intricacy of the design.
7) Before Production
In the production step the designer has to make decisions that include how many different sizes to produce, how many colors to offer, and the amount of fabric for each style.
