Designer Isabel Marant Hates Celebs, Hootchie Girls, The Fashion Industry

Over at Katie Grand's LOVE magazine, they took some column inches out to explain their love(there's that word again) of the brilliantly iconoclastic (andapparently highly quotable) French designer Isabel Marant. On top of a providing lovely pic of the preternaturally youthful, 43-year-old Marant, LOVEoffers a host of memorable bon mots: "I'm quite anti-consumerist. It'sdifficult for me being a designer in an industry I don't like. When Idesign a collection I find myself thinking 'why do we need new clothes?'I never think about the fashion people."
