The pair will be fronting the first of a programme of catwalk shows running at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway until Sunday.

The event, taking place in a large tent in front of the shopping centre, aims to showcase the latest in high street trends. Organisers aim to feature outfits for young and old as well as offering something for all budgets.

This is the second time the famous faces have hosted Bristol Fashion Week after they fronted last year's autumn shows.

Former Big Breakfast presenter Denise said: "I had such a brilliant time last year and loved working with Mark and the whole team are amazing.

"There's a real buzz about every show and your adrenaline really goes because the audiences tend to be so great.

"The models are all amazing, the clothes are fantastic and it just feels like an exciting event."

A viewed shared by fashion expert Mark who is a regular on ITV's Lorraine lifestyle programme.

He explained: "Nobody does anything like this anywhere else in the country and I love working with Denise as I know we can talk nonsense one minute and then be all about the fashion the next.

"The shows will be celebrating everything to do with British summer so we'll look at Wimbledon and other events like that. We'll be focusing on being the best dressed for those types of occasions."

Sections of the shows will celebrate Bristol events such as this summer's Balloon Fiesta and street art weekend Upfest.

Mark said: "We really want to go to the Balloon Fiesta as it sounds amazing. That will be a scene for John Lewis and there's going to be lots of bright colours in that show to mark the festival.

"We'll also be doing the Summer Solstice with Marks and Spencer."

The fashion guru also revealed what looks are going to be in this summer.

Mark said: "Looking to this summer there's going to be a lot of strips in. "They'll be great floral prints, loads of strips and big bold colours.

"It'll be a really bright and cheery look this year."

Bristol Fashion Week's presenters revealed they hit off within 20 minutes of working with each other last year.

It is fair to say they both expressed their cheeky sides when offering another incentive to visit the fashion shows.

Mark laughed: "There are also some good looking male models for all the ladies out there."

Denise joked: "I was going to say that but I thought I'd get into trouble. You know the only real reason I returned is because I get to look at all the male models

"They are really hot it has nothing to do with working with Mark - I'm only joking."See more at:pink formal dresses
