Channelling her inner thespian, Kapoor put on a dramatic performance, paving the way for the remaining models.

The colour palette saw a sea of whites, yellows, and oranges dominating the runway, with a red and gold design for Kapoor’s final look.

Her heavily embellished avatar was aesthetically royal, and fit for a spectacular bridal occasion.

More famous faces graced the runway on Day 2, with Lisa Haydon and Athiya Shetty each donning avatars from iconic designers.

Ashima Leena showcased a visually striking collection, influenced by southern Indian drapes, classic fabrics, and temple jewellery.

Following suit was Falguni and Shane Peacock, who moulded a dramatic ambiance with a ominously dark set design.

Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi walked the ramp hand in hand. Athiya stunned in a lightly embellished black gown, whilst Sooraj seduced in a velvet suit jacket and red pocket square.

Sooraj said: “This was the longest two minutes of my life, but once on the stage I was just fine.”

Someone who is used to sashaying down the runway is the gorgeous Lisa Haydon, who walked the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani’s collection ‘Our New Eclectic World’.

The cosmic-inspired set transported the audience into an otherworldly realm, which fused perfectly with his designs.

Wearing a bronze embellished gown, Lisa dazzled in her lehenga, and merged together traditional bridal attire with a futuristic set of the ‘New World’.

Rina Dhaka kicked things off on Day 3, who unveiled a Bohemian-inspired bridal collection.

Floral saris, lehengas and even headwear moulded a carefree feel to the collection, ideal for any modern day bride.

Akshara Hasan closed the show for the designer in a pastel-colured pink embellished avatar.

Jyotsna Tiwari’s collection, entitled ‘Secret Garden’, continued the floral theme, featuring delicate lace fabrics with pastel colours dominating throughout.

Heightening the buzz for the collection was Sarah-Jane Dias’ presence, who sang covers of hit songs such as Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ and Beyonce’s ‘Crazy in Love’.

Speaking of merging fashion and song, Tiwari revealed:

“I wanted to have a feel of a very modern romance happening… (Sarah) was there throughout the presentation to bind it together.”

JJ Valaya brought Day 3 to a close with his couture collection, ‘The Bolshoi Bazaar’.

JJ added a winter Russian flavour to the day events, with snow-covered artificial trees and fog machines.

The designs fused Indian and Russian cultures with an amalgamation of Sherwanis, Anarkalis, and traditional ‘Ushankas’ and other Russian headdresses.

Gauri and Nainika’s Haute Couture collection presented a fine array of floral textures and prints dedicated to nature.

Swarovski crystals were intricately placed on the gowns, which catered specifically for the feminine bride.

The designs were predominantly light in textures and fabrics, using sheer, tulle and organza to construct a floaty, ethereal aesthetic.

Then, designer duo Shanatu and Nikhil Mehra unveiled their stunning collection – ‘The Mahal’.

A rich colour palette, which included royal blues, silvers, and reds, created a lavish visual for the audience.

They paired each avatar with a matching headpiece, turning the models into timeless beauties.
