2 of the 3 items I have never heard of before but that didn’t stop me from buying them. What I found charming about the first item, the white cotton Peroni topwith rhinestone on the letters, was the obvious it said right there onthe front “Italy”. So I gathered this rhinestone studded tee up andthought to myself “what in the hell am I buying this for?” Irationalized to myself that this top is cotton and is actually on thecampy side of life. Grant it I’m not a heavy drinker but I do like agood beer every now and then especially during the hot days of summer.Peroni is just your classic Italian beer that is a staple in Italy, it’slike our Miller beer here in the USA. Big ok…. Italians have alwaysbeen into fashion and design imagine the highlights of the 80′s and youwill picture an accompanying wardrobe of Italian fashion. Armani jeansand crisp white t-shirts, the rhinestone explosions of Versace jacketsor the ridiculous curves of a Dolce & Gabbana corset dress. Andthen, a little later, in the 90′s the accompanying apparel to a decadeof prosperity was glamorous Gucci silks and Pucci prints. It was duringthese decades that the Italian fashion house seized control of theinternational fashion scene. I know I got way off course here but whatI’m saying is that the Italian do everything with passion and STYLE. Ifound this Butsina black cotton with spandex top, made in Paris, andagain wasn’t aware of this label and Google provided me with little orabsolutely no help at all. So when it came for me to actually put these2 tops with a bottom it was easy once I discovered this black silk longskirt by, again someone I have no idea who, Paul Alexander. I love howit ties at the side and the length of the skirt, just fashionable andgorgeous. Both tops work excellent together with the long black silkskirt, one top looks campy while the other looks STYLISH. 2 excellentchoices that can make 1 tasteful ensemble. Speaking of Italy whatbetter shoe than these Pucciflats made in Italy and would work magic. Interested in any item on myblog please email for price, additional photos and measurements.
