About Me ...: I have a handbag business called KuraDesign www.KuraDesign.com. I import some bag and do some design work as well. I want to increase the % of bags that are designed by myself.

I am looking to sell to more small boutiques and currently sell to 13 boutiques in the Washington DC area.

I'd love to network with others that I can partner with as well as consign bags to small retailers.

Fashion Industry Experience: Started in technology, lived in Asia for 3 1/2 years where I started making my own shoes, purses, etc with the help of local seamstresses.

Favorite Fashion Designer or Fashion Brand: too many too choose. I love DesIgual out of Spain!! and KuraDesign

What is hot in fashion this year?: For me- mismatched patterns, anything PURPLE, faux leather, the 60s and tthe 80s. Plaid, mismatched animal prints, faux leather.
