About Me ...: I have run many online retail stores, been a buyer for a high end boutique in Italy, oversaw production for that boutique's clothing line, I launched their jewelry / accessory line -- I was also the designer, and that lead right into the launch of my own line.

Fashion Industry Experience: All of my experience has been hands on, and began as a side-note to my web design and marketing business. I was doing markhttp://www.fashionindustrynetwork.com/profiles/settings/editProfileInfoet research to help others with SEO (search engine optimization: helping them to be found on the internet), and fell in love with the whole process. I've always had an over abundance of fashion mags lying around...had a brief stay in the modeling world (always wanted more control)... always found myself thinking "it would be better if they _____"... probably typical of others who call this industry home. I met the right people at the right time, and things have been a roller coaster ever since... the kind that leaves you exhilarated, not nauseous :) I could never claim to be self-taught; I've had great advice from great people. My company has been in business for nine years; 1/3 of that could account for fashion experience I suppose (in the strict sense). I no longer do SEO work, and have to acquire help for my own sites because I no longer have the time. I do not work in web design or marketing in any way that does not pertain to the oversight of my own retail venues...
