Fashion Industry Experience: I'm currently the Fashion & Beauty Editor of one of Summit Media's magazines, Total Girl Magazine. I also work as a freelance Make up Artist and Fashion Stylist for celebrities in Manila, commercials, films, editorials, weddings and television shows. I graduated with a degree in Theater Arts in Ateneo de Manila University and have acting and modeling background, too.

What is hot in fashion this year?: S/S08 seems to be a trend that caters to extreme characters. Laid-back and refined casuals in neutrals and shots of pastels take on romantic textures while others can sport loud colorful tones in playful sports wear or delightfully exotic prints. I personally like the exotic factor in choice of fabrics and prints particularly because of my heritage so it's interesting that oru cultures merge and take centerstage.

F/W08 takes a twist with modern shapes in minimal details and sweet nature-inspired colors. I'm looking forward to strong pieces coming out in the holidays particularly those that provide structure in spite of the layers that are going to pile up for the cold weather.

I became weak... I have succumbed to the social status symbol that represents a culture of brand-conscious and profusely ridiculous spending beyond our 3rd world means...
