Hi Daniel,
You have to start off small being that you don't have per say an industry in your area. Don't be afraid to branch out you have to think about Internships or maybe build your portfolio by styling good friends for events and making sure you photgraph them or see if you can become a Jr. Stylist for someone on the local News..

You have to get educated as well styling isn't about just the clothing its about knowing what will compliment your clients particular body-type.

no I currently work pt at rocawear with the design team in nyc, but I have worked with freelance stylists. through companies like bluefly and levis. I was attempting to be a stylist at some point and I have been told that you should find a showroom or stylist that has experience and work with them. or even working wth a modeling agency might be a goo dtsrt do anything that will add to xperience. you shoul make a model mayhem page to start a portfolio. www.modelmayhem.com. you can network with designers and photographers as well as other stylists

hey you should find a known or stylist with a good amount of experience in your aarea and volunteer or intern with them to learn the process and how the job works. You can also volunteer with any showrooms that may be in your area as well
