Models of Diversity is a London-based non-profit organization, whose mission is to change the face of fashion and modelling. They have had great visibility in the press with their impressive campaigning, celebrity endorsements and most recently, their models have been used in popular television programmes on Channel 4 in 2011.They quote: "We advocate for more diversity in models and demands that the fashion and marketing industries recognise the beauty in women of all races, ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. MoD uses top agency standard models, because not just anyone can be a model; a successful model must still have a special beauty and be able to sell a product. However, we reject the notion that only a very narrow range of ages, races, shapes and abilities are marketable."www.modelsofdiversity.org
