The purpose of the shoot is not only about showing creativity ... its all about continuing the fight to save our environment . In Hawaii it is very important to continue to preserve the environment in which we all live and as a designer this shoot was an excellent exercise in seeing how it is to spend time underwater . Unbelievably these images are raw, untouched . the water crystal clear and from over 70 feet up the ocean floor can be seen as clear as day. Keeping our earth and water supply is something that we often take for granted and if we continue to move through life without constant care of our earth ... it will be unable to continue to nurture us . Most importantly our water supply and air . Water is the first substance that we are in contact with ,,, we spend 9 months in our mothers water filled womb... we drink water in order to hydrate our bodies and about 70% of our bodies are made up of this ever so important substance ... so it is important for me as an artist to continue to search for ways to create clothing with the least amount of impact to our environment ... are all of my clothes completely eco conscious ... no , however from collection to collection I research new ways to repurpose or find new materials that make our world a little safer to live in ...
