Basilisk Necklace

This necklace is made using vintage carnelian-hued glass beads with ornate brass decor on the end of each bead, tied with twine onto a section of brass chain. The brass clasp is new; and the dark marks of age and patina are visible on many of the links of the vintage chain. The length is 25 inches or 63 centimeters.Created by Navare Jewelry's bored girl in a castle, who was inspired by the withering gaze of the basilisk's unforgettable eyes. Legend has it that the ashes of a deceased basilisk can be used to convert copper into Spanish gold.
