I use only very easy techniques. I bezel the stone with peyote stitch (very easy to learn), and then embroider around everything else. Pick up 5 beads, go back through three.
I get my mesh from Linda at http://alacatreclasps.com . They have all widths of mes, and she is very helpful.

I love your work. How or where can I learn the sculptural beadwork you use? Especially on the necklace with the 2 stones? or glass centerpieces.
Is the ribbon the 1/4th inch wide fine mesh? I've been looking for the course mesh, wider ribbon without any success. Any suggestions?
