2008 Nuno Felting 2D Mixed Media

Nuno Feltin on Silk experiment. The mixed media piece of wearable design consists of using wool fleece Nuno on silk that has been digitally printed with a floral background. After many attempts and rescues, the final piece is completed with multiple layers. I’ve added delicate silk blossoms to create a 2D landscape and embellished it with seed beads & crystals, alongside the swirly paisley shapes, completely done with needle felting. All was not planned, just happened after many obstacles.
