Hi Larisa. Thank you for your note. Your designs are really impressive and artistic, and you have definitely done some important work in the short time you've had your label.
I think there are probably two things you could do. First would be to target people who purchase couture to purchase pieces from your line. They are they type of people who could reasonably afford your pieces and who would actually attend the types of events in which your pieces would be appropriate, like gala events or other such high-profile situations. I think it would be important for you to start establishing relationships with people who could introduce you to the wealthy and fashion forward so that you could have private, invitation trunk shows specifically for this demographic. There are wealthy ladies who would love to host a private fashion show/trunk show and sponsor an upcoming, intelligent and talented designer like you.
Second, you might want to think about coming out with a line that is more oriented toward the less wealthy consumer, something that could be sold at Kirna Zabete or even Kitson or Intermix. This sort of line definitely would need an investor, but if you do the right thing with your couture line and trunk shows, this will not be a problem. What you do NOT want to do is to get orders before you have proper funding for production. It is a recipe for disaster.
