    How enlightening your profile is, I particularly like your comment, that you admire people who overcome adversity (Snap) positive thoughts!     Yes...as a matter of fact I just did an article on an international designer in the UK. I'm not sure if you've heard of him- Danny Sullivan? Founder of Irregular Choice line of shoes. I would love to hear more about your designs. Thanks!

    Started my business January of last year. Networking can be online or meeting with local wedding businesses to introduce yourself. In my case, I make custom made wedding dresses so I join shows in the area and network with other show vendors. Submitting your work to publications can be tricky. If you can afford a PR company, I suggest you hire one. Publications receive a lot of request so it is a full time job just trying to get published. I got interviews and magazine features after I joined a fashion week. People I work with, like models and photographers also recommend me to publications they work with in the past, which is really nice.
    Good luck, it's a lot of work but it's worth it.

    yes I work with people all around the world. I'm English (Brighton originally) but have been living in LA for 8yrs. I still work with some English and French clients...
