"casting is a bit tough to justify. It is very time consuming, and even though it looks like it would be easy, the learning curve can be several years. There are folks that specialize in nothing but casting. I to mixed casting and fabrication.

    Scott - I agree with you that it may be a small niche but a good one. The important thing is to design items that you enjoy. The rest always seems to fall into place. good luck with everything.

    Welcome to the fashion industry network. Very interesting work that you do. I have just started a new site for fashion accessories called Trims & Notions Directory (found at www.trimsnotionsdirectory.com) The site is not yet officially launched, but you are welcome to add your company inforamtion so that it is on the directory when I launch it. Mabye you would be appropriate in the button section or buckles. If you create a fashion accessory that is not listed on that site, let me know and I can possibly add the category.
