Young, Emerging Fashion Designer Competition.. ..
Opened to all young, fashion designers between the ages of 16 – 35.
Contestants must NOT have an already established line.
Contestants could be individuals in high school or college or just out of college with a desire to be a part of the ever growing fashion industry.
All contestants will go through an entry selection process and a minimum of 10 designers will be short listed by our selection panel.
Guidelines....
Each designer/contestant MUST submit five (5) design sketched and one complete style ( garments and accessories).
Design sketches MUST be in full color
Designers should submit a detailed description of the fabrics used etc. (please include fabric swatches)
Short listed designers/contestants will have a post judging interview on the concept of their collection.
Five winners will showcase their designs at the Virgin Islands Fashion Week –Fashion Marker Place Expo where an overall winner will be selected.
The overall winner will receive a trophy, publicity and will have the opportunity to showcase at the Grande Finale on Sunday, October 12th among other prizes.
