"I'm not sure what you mean by "diy jewelry". *I* made it, from components I purchased individually, not from a kit, nor from anybody else's pattern. It has been sold.
But no, I'm not interested in the necklaces in the site you are promoting. First…"

"Thanks! It's going to be a "centerpiece" in an art show at the end of the month. The theme of the event is "Death and Beyond"... so this fits right in!"

"You might want to check on shows at Scottish Rites Center and the Convention Center, too. Your jewelry looks like it would be good "business-wear", so sales at a business/industrial trade show might be a possibility. The Quilt Show, Cat and/or Dog…"

"Sales at Comic Con and similar art shows are not all that high-- it's mostly a crowd there for other things, but it's fun, and when I started I "had" to be there anyway (with my kids). It's still our annual vacation. Vendors have better sales, of…"

FASHION + ART + MUSIC + LOS ANGELES
  • Hmmm. That doesn't sound like a good match for ME but it did get me thinking! I should check out Del Mar and see what shows they are having in the fall.... My stuff is more fashion-y.
  • So far, the summer is long and hot! (we live in-land!) So do you sell a lot of jewelry at Comic Con?
  • Hi, all!

Thanks for inviting me to join-- I'm slowly looking through the site, in-between getting ready for a "big show" next week... Comic Con!! I'll have some of my jewelry and crocheted items in the Art Show, and will also be working at the Art Show this year. I still have to plan my set-up, number everything, make out bid sheets and send the list to the art show accountant... he used to "hate" me for the long lists I'd give him, but now things are set up so I can send an Excel sheet, and it's much easier for everybody. Will write more later... after Comic Con....
