Rags Our Riches is a unique styling competition and benefit sale where unwanted clothing collected from individuals in NYC is repurposed by a 16 competing stylists to see who can put together the best looks, live in front of an audience to win the Grand Prize.

The goal is to resell the clothing and gain sponsors to benefit FAIM and the African Center for Community Empowerment as businesses serving the community with creative and educational programming.

Rags Our Riches corresponds with NYC Winter 2011 Fashion Week and will be held during between February 10th-18th in Queens, NY.
