As always we've enlisted motivational speaker for our upcoming eCommerce Meetup called: Where Fashion and Style Meets E-commerce
We have two amazing speakers this month: one is Vik Venkatraman the Co-Founder of Clothes Horse, and the second is Peter Wylie the co-founder of Grad Savers.
Vik is an entrepreneur, author, and free thinker. As the Co-Founder of Clothes Horse, he's playing his role in solving the problem of buying clothes that fit. Retailers who work withClothes Horse are able to use a ton of data and cutting-edge technology to put the right fit in front of their shoppers, and experience material business benefits. Prior to Clothes Horse, Vik helped build an analytics and data products business at American Express, traveled the world as a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting, and was a brand manager at Red Bull.
After starting V Bespoke, a tailored menswear company, he saw that there was a great need to make the lives of normal people much better simply by getting them clothes that fit — a gift that then needed to be shared with the world. He even published a book, Inspired. Vik graduated with honors from Columbia University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Pete has worked in start-ups his whole career, and loves all things digital and the experience of building businesses from the ground floor. Pete is co-founder of GradSavers, an online platform where businesses can order scalable sales, marketing and operations work from US college educated professionals. GradSavers took part in the most recent AngelPad accelerator class, and has grown rapidly since its launch in beta in January.
Prior to founding GradSavers, Pete led advertising and customer acquisition at Tough Mudder, where he helped lead a 35x revenue expansion in just 2 years. He has also served as an executive team member at a start-up digital agency where he built out several lines of business, and a web editor at an online digital media firm. He is an expert in digital strategy, including marketing, branding, and customer acquisition.
