About Me ...: I graduated from Kennesaw State with a degree in marketing. I really love fashion and have a strong interest in building a career in the industry. I would love to be involved in event planning, marketing, styling, or visual merchandising.

Fashion Industry Experience: I worked at Express (one of my favorite stores) for 2 1/2 years as a sales associate. Last summer I did a summer internship at Nordstrom where I worked on the sales floor and got to experience working in different support departments (visual merchandising, personal shopping, etc.). I volunteered at Haute.Lanta fashion week in Atlanta last fall. I worked in guest relations and assisted backstage.
I now work at White House Black House Market part-time. I'm also working part-time at an event planning company (TOYL Events) on the fashion team...I'm still looking for something full-time and would appreciate any advice or ideas!

I went to a plus-sized fashion show with my mom today at Macy's and it was a lot of fun. Clinton Kelly from What Not to Wear was there and he answered questions from the audience and did critiques on people's outfits. He put together the looks for the show as well. New Job!

I just got offered a job at White House Black Market on Friday and I start tomorrow! I'm excited about the job because I think that it will be similar to my Nordstrom job but because the store is smaller, I think I will feel more comfortable working there. I felt overwhelmed working at Nordstrom sometimes because the store is so huge and I didn't really like the competitiveness in my department.
