About Me ...
Vicki Starr illustrates her creative finesse through fashion magazine photo shoots, print
advertising, videos, weddings, fashion shows, commercials, movies and even
entertainment/publicity shoots. Having been a makeup artist for many years, she has
come to learn that many women are willing to put their makeup on themselves, if only
someone would teach them. As a result, Vicki Starr supervises and teaches makeup
application at area workshops as well as for the American Cancer Society's, "Look
Good...Feel Better" program in Brooklyn, New York. This program allows her to use her
artistry skills in helping women regain the looks they once had prior to their cancer
treatments. As an Afro-Latina, Vicki Starr appeals to many different cultures and
backgrounds. Although she does a lot of natural looks, Vicki Starr has developed a niche
for “extreme makeup” such as body painting and body art. Having worked with
celebrities such as Bebe Winans, Toccara Jones of "America's Next Top Model" and
"Celebrity Fit Club" fame, TONY Award winning actress, Tonya Pinkins of "All My
Children" and "Jelly's Last Jam" fame, producer Damon Dash, Emmy Award winning
actor, Jimmy Smits, Taurean Blauque of "Hill St. Blues", Robert Miano from "the
SOPRANOS", GRAMMY AWARD winning produder/actor Bryce Wilson of "GROOVE
THEORY" and "BEAUTY SHOP", Holly Gaines, BAD BOY recording artist CHERI
DENNIS and several others, Vicki Starr truly brings out the stars in celebritie
