About Me ...

Hi, My name is Umar Ali, i was born in and brought up untill my late teens in Pakistan. Its been few years i have move to Glasgow Scotland and i work as a Food Quallity controller with Grocessory stores. I like to go out with my friends, play snooker and travell to different places.

Fashion Industry Experience

I had always taken a keen interest in helping organize events with my cousin who was an events manger.
As I grew up and started to study, I participated and helped organise events at the college. I became experienced in organizing fashion shows for the students which also resulted in me taking part in the fashion shows as a model. They were amateur shows, however due to me participating as a model, I started to Gain interest in this field and felt that I was becoming good at modelling particularly runway modelling.
As my interests in modelling became stronger, I started to look out for vacancies and for call outs from various job centres for any modelling jobs they may have had. Thankfully I had a few friends who knew of modelling vacancies. This led to doing a few modelling jobs for companies such as Levi who were promoting their jeans. I was given the chance to do a few photoshoots for different companies which I thoroughly enjoyed. I learnt about different types of modelling such as runway and part body modelling. I managed to land a job for a watch company , which involved taking a few photos with the watch for an advertising campaign These jobs gave me so much experience and helped me to obtain the knowledge required to become a better model.
The opportunities I have had to do modelling jobs have made me want to pursue a career in the modelling field. Due to family commitments in the past I was not able to pursue this, however now I am keen to start up again and work in different aspects in the modelling industry.
I have applied to different places for a while resulting in no success. Even though I have not been able to get any modelling jobs, I have still managed to take part in shows that were organised by local wedding organizers. I have been lucky that as I got the chance to model at the Asian wedding shows which took place at hotels around the UK.
I have loved and enjoyed becoming a model for different events. I love meeting new people and travelling to different places to work. I make an effort in keeping fit and healthy and maintain my figure. I also keep well groomed and love to dress up where possible.
I believe I could become a successful model as I have the passion for this career and also have the experience.

I have so many favotie designs like G-star, Diesel, D & G, etc
