- Born in Australia and raised in a warm and creative European family, gave Jeremy Angelis his first and most important introduction into luxury, fashion, jewellery and artisan food.
Jeremy’s tactile experiences taught him about the power of colour, aroma and touch, building onto his existing knowledge through his ability to recognise and observe sensuality in various forms.
Combined with his creativity, ability to visualise and prolific nature, Jeremy’s love for luxury, design, sensuality, and the beauty of the female form & psyche, naturally resulted in the creation of NICOLINA.
‘NICOLINA is dedicated to my best friend, partner, inspiration and love of the same namesake. Creating luxurious NICOLINA footwear is a labour of love, requiring an abundance of energy & vision, imagination, endless passion, and an insatiable desire to create beauty. My objective is to reach a higher level and satisfy the needs of sophisticated women seeking unique, elegant, limited editions. NICOLINA is my tribute to women.’ Jeremy Angelis, designer.
Jeremy Angelis also offers a Bespoke and Bridal Service within each NICOLINA collection, using a larger range of available colours, various premium leathers and exotic skins/hides, Swarovski crystals and fine accessories/hardware.
- Fashion Industry Experience
- Almost 60 years ago, a young Greek shoe craftsman worked tirelessly, day and night, cutting leather, gluing and stitching, and hand-crafting every pair of shoes for sale throughout Western Europe.
This shoe craftsman was unknowingly sowing the seeds of greater things to come.
Creating artisan, high quality products of limited editions, using meticulous attention to detail, was the only way he knew how to make shoes. His dynamic commitment, persistence, knowledge and attention to detail, was somehow passed down to his grandson, Jeremy Angelis.
Whilst working with an Italian shoe manufacturer commissioned by various luxury brands, Jeremy began to conceptualise and create his own designs.
This followed with an exhaustive search to find an artisan manufacturer, and successfully resulted in Jeremy’s first collection - confirming his passion and ability for designing elegant and sensual, luxury women’s footwear.
NICOLINA, the limited edition, high end luxury and couture, designer footwear label was born.
