- I am Textile Engineer with an experiencea in knitting industry in various field like Knitted fabric, knitted garment, sweaters, blankets and home furnishing products. Experience includes entire buying/sourcing and merchandising of garments/sweaters/blankets and home furnishing products, vendors development and factory evaluation in terms of quantity/quality/price, seasonal sample set development for men’s/women’s/children’s wear, production follow up with suppliers, cost calculation and price negotiation, All aspects of development including sample’s knit down, lab dips approval, yarn shade approval, test reports and technical spec sheet, procurement of yarn, accessories & other materials, correspondence with suppliers, supply chain management, office administration, compliances, documentations and payment follow up, etc.
