About Me ...: I work for a small to mid sized retailer in Southern California that specializes in a boutique style atmosphere with premium denim and streetwear products. My real passions lies in all things high end. I am career woman that is driven to better things 24/7. I specialize in Marketing, Communications and Internet Marketing and am a hell of a writer.

Fashion Industry Experience: Over a year in straight fashion marketing but before that I have been working 40-80 hrs a week since I was 20....I'm 31 now...you do the math.

What is hot in fashion this year?: As we head into fall I see a lot of neutral colors in tans and brown leathers. Purple and mustard yellow undertones mixed with black. Mostly older elegance and the silhouette is back.

I have over four years experience in the fashion and apparel industry coupled with a Masters degree in Leather Apparel Design and Technology (LADT) from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), a premier fashion institute in India.

I have an experience of 3 years as a Buyer and a Merchandiser and have worked with eminent brands such as Esprit, Paul Smith, Whistles, Karen Millen, Jigsaw, Sag Harbour, Izod etc. I also represented my organization in the ‘Lineappelle’ leather fair in Bologna, Italy in order to ascertain new trends, gather product information and build contacts across the industry.
