About Me ...: Gina Diaz, a favorite hair stylist and fashion photographer in South Florida, is the founder and owner of Photography by Gina Diaz and Glam Hair Extensions salon. Her pioneering approach to hair, make-up and photography has won her recognition from peers and the best coiffed men and women from South Beach to Malibu Beach. In her digitally created photographs, she captures the style and beauty of modern mankind.

Gina Diaz and her team specialize in hair, stage makeup and photography for editorial, fashion, runway, music videos, fine art, special occasions, weddings, advertising and more. She developed a passion for photography as her hair extension and beauty business grew and required imaginative and dramatic photo shoots. Her diverse work includes working with various celebrities, artists, DJs, music producers, singers, models, fashion designers and many other professionals.

Her most recent projects include transforming Pamela Anderson at the Make-A-Wish Foundation Gala and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week with Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier, True Religion & Bejeweled Trade Shows 2010.

Diaz is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She devotes considerable time and expertise to a wide range of charitable causes, including Mt. Sinai Cancer Comprehensive Center, St. Matthew Catholic Church and Aventura Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center. She served several years on the Board of Directors for Hairstylists for Humanity.

Diaz concern for safe and proper hair restoration technologies led her to develop an online website that teaches other stylists how to work with the safest and best methods. Her photography talent enabled her to create a truly effective learning platform where stylists expanding their skills can get certified online with the Flat Method.
