About Me ...

I have been a designer of outer wear in my family business for over 20 years. In 1999, I am also an unusual artist. I turned my attention to the computer, using a unique combination of drawing programs to create over 1,500 pieces of beautiful artwork. Using my expertise as a fashion designer and combining that with my exquisite images, I have perfectly merged these two artistic forms to create an unique and exciting new fashion handbag collection. One journalist wrote, “In launching his “Carry- Art” line of designer bags, Elliot Vance has bridged the worlds of art and designer outwear like none have done before”. [Amazines.com]

I have been a designer in my family outerwear business for about 20 years. Now I travel all over the world, doing very private and exclusive handbag showings ever since I began designing handbags with my art on them. It's also another way to promote my art.

What is hot in fashion this year?

Warm weather colors that normally would be seen in the Spring/Summer, being worn in the cooler and cold weather months!! I would like to see all color tones, from muted to very bright and cheerful, worn all year round'! I have always hoped for this to come about and after about 8-9 years of dreaming of this, I see it happening all over New York City, one of the Meccas of worldwide fashion! Bravo! My dream come true has finally come to fruition!

Just returned From traveling Europe to sell handbag collection!

I just spent a few months with my group which I put together and we did private showings in estates, mansions,etc. showing my handbag collections http://www.elliotvancehandbags.com, from Dusseldorf Germany to Tokyo Japan, to Monte Carlo and many other major cities around the world. I sold out my entire stock of my "Carry-Art" handbags (about 200 pieces), as I was an artist first, with over 1,500 paintings, I put some of them on my collections (about 15 pieces) in all styles, from totes to clutch… Continue
