BIOGRAPHY – D’LONDON

Pop singer D’London, also known as D’Lo, a Southern California native, grew up by the beach. At the age of 14 while visiting her Mom (a violist with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra and an honorary violin and viola professor at the Bolzano Music Festival in Italy), she was inspired to begin writing songs. When D’Lo returned to sunny California, she recorded the songs she wrote on her trip. With the help of her jazz pianist and music arranger father, they worked together recording the music in his studio. Even though D'Lo performed in several high school drama productions, in her heart she knew singing was her passion, and felt a calling toward her lifelong dream.
During high school and college, D’Lo chose to put her music and singing career on hold. Her parents encouraged her to focus on academics. She was a gifted student. D’Lo attended an all-girls high school, Cornelia Connelly Catholic High School in Anaheim, California. She then graduated in three years from the University of California Irvine with a 3.7 GPA (as a member of the National Honor Society) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Sciences (geared towards Psychology) and a Minor in Social Ecology. She was just getting started.
With her goals set on helping individuals, couples, children and families in conflict resolution and relationship improvement, D’Lo received her Master’s Degree from Chapman University heading towards a career as a Marriage, Family and Child Counselor. In addition, she found time to gain a PhD in Homeopathic Medicine.
While still in her early 20’s, the attractive 5’6” blonde began working as a print model for swimwear and designer clothes Her strong family goals and desire to help others, she and her family built two Orthodox Churches in rural parts of Europe.
Happy and enjoying life to the fullest, D’Lo was now roaring and ready to return to her musical passion of writing and recording songs.
Songstress D’Lo is confident her first chartbuster, the sizzling, sexy sound “X Marks the Spot,” will have listeners rocking to the heart-pounding beat. Award-winning and Grammy Nominated producer Jon Gass remixed her charting CD. Also gaining wide airplay is “Reach for the World” which blends D’Lo’s smooth tones with a mild rap medley. Her unique sound rapidly caught the attention of radio program directors nationwide. She has appeared on radio interviews and is being heard across the nation and in Europe. Voted #1 on Top 15 Various Artists for weeks in a row on Radio Boss, D'Lo is taking radio by storm. In her spare time, D’Lo enjoys walking down the beautiful Southern California beaches, caring for her dogs (a teacup yorkie, dachshund and maltepoo), scuba diving (NAUI Certified Scuba Diver), fashion shopping and discovering hot new clubs.
