Have looked thru the stores at the styles out for Spring 2010 ? The wedge shoes are back. The open toe ankle boots are nice. I am sure other countries have great styles because I have seen them on the internet.

Lorenzo said… - hey, TO has several show rooms.... you should get to know them. This way you can pull garments and accessories you will need. There are also many photographers.... pair up with a few of them that also need to build up a portfolio - help each other out. Also - find new models that need pics taken. As you get better and develop a look, start talking to stores and the showrooms about shooting promos for them. There are also several new designers that have no idea what they are doing - pair up with them and use their clothes as well. You will not get paid, but make sure your name is on every pic. I used to be in TO - head designer for Alfred Sung (your mother might remember him). As you get pics, make sure you have a web site and post them. One last thing, try to get a job at Holt Renfrew... almost any one who is anyone goes shopping when they are in town. You can meet people - and also pull (borrow) pieces for your shoots. You might have a Mass Exodus dress with Chanel shoes and a Dior Bag... BV glasses.
