Day 2

I couldn’t say enough about about my trip to Kansas City MO on yesterday’s blog post so I felt the need to blab more today…  Our hotel was in the museum district and 2 blocks from The Country Club Plaza which is an American upscale shopping district.  It was the first shopping center in the world designed to accommodate shoppers arriving by automobiles.  Established in 1922 and opened in 1923, it was  designed architecturally after Seville Spain.  Every shop you can think of was there and my brother kept telling me that I needed to go into this store called Hall’s, which is like a Sak’s + Neiman Marcus + Bergdorf Goodman all rolled up into one big lump of luxury.  I walked inside Halls and I’m not kidding when I tell you this but I was greeted by pretty much every employee there, even the janitor said hello!   I have lived in Atlanta for 21 years and I can’t tell you how many times I have walked into Neiman Marcus or Sak’s and not been greeted but lets just say a lot….  For me being STYLISH is about being warm and inviting, it’s about acknowledging ones presence.  I own Doubletake and I greet everyone that walks into my store so Atlanta Neiman’s & Sak’s can take some note.  Just call me Rambling Rose because I haven’t even started to blab about this 70′s vintage jumpsuit and YSL scarf.  Jumpsuits are a MUST have in every lady’s closet and that can be said about theYSL scarf too….  I love the color of this jumpsuit, it would go with just about any color and when I slap a jacket on this for my client I swear she could walk down the runway in Paris and fit right in…..  Be STYLISH and go green.  Daniel your luxury curator….
