Youre So Pretty to Be Dark...

I can only imagine how many times Jessica White has heard that remark on her gorgeous skin tone, or how many times we have to have the complexion conversation, or what will it take for us to really believe that black is beautiful. Still, dark-skinned black girls are bleaching their skin with ridiculous ambitions of a lighter complexion.

Unfortunately, within Black culture, beauty is still often reserved for those who are lighter skinned....]
