"you can look, but do not touch!"

That's So New YorkRecently I've been victim to a series of those "you can look, but do not touch!"phases; for those of you who are a little unsure in regards to what I'm rambling on about, let me explain. Do you remember them childhood shopping trips with your parents where you would be dragged into a store and upon entering your parents would sternly whisper "you can look, but do not touch anything!"simply because they were afraid that with your irresponsible child-like habits, you may drop or break something? Well, just yesterday I relived a similar situation, yet instead of "you can look, but do not touch!" it was more of a"you can click, yet cannot buy!" situation, primarily due to the fact that I was once again caught up in online-shopping rather than your classic in-store browsing session, meaning that the burden of being careful was nonexistent, yet with me having your ever so stereotypical teen bank balance which seems to read something along the lines of current balance: £2.88 the possibility of purchasing anything had also been snatched from me, meaning that a wish list was my last resort, and a rather frustrating one at that.

In an attempt to voice some sort of justification in regards to why I seem to spend my life flicking through online-stores, I would like to clarify that on this occasion it was Zalando, a store which I’ve heard a lot about (thanks to the various television advertisements which I’m graced with daily) yet until yesterday not experienced for myself, and with my market research head screwed on tight (due to the fact that at the time I was in the process of researching a number of stores which I would later go onto compare with my very own store design/layout, cause you know, I’ve heard that’s important when you’re in the process of designing an online-store) I was more than happy to add one more store to my seemingly never ending checklist of “to do’s”.  After rereading the past two or three sentences, I’ve realized that my concentration might be a little off, primarily due to the fact that by the time I hit the Zalando website, my market research head had managed to unscrew itself and topple onto the floor, all whilst my “I want to shop!” head was in the process of climbing up and fixating itself; in my opinion? There was no hope.

As the majority of the pieces which I picked out and bookmarked as part of my wish list fell into the menswear category, I’m afraid that on this occasion my“girls should wear boys clothes” attitude sprang into action as I picked out a handful of items which in my opinion could easily slip into the unisex category, due to the fact that nowadays it's not considered usual for a girl to strut down the street in her boyfriends jacket/sweater, etc; onto the images …
