If you find yourself dreading going to the gym, a boost of confidence might be just the thing to get you excited about working out again. One way to do that is to feel good about the clothes that you wear for your workouts. Check out these 4 ways to look fashionable during training.

Wear a Matching Outfit

There are endless options of workout clothes on the market today. Wearing stylish leggings, jackets, sweatshirts, shorts, socks, or sneakers can make you feel confident and excited to go to the gym. Wearing a matching outfit can take your gym experience to the next level and make you feel much more put together. Coordinate your shirt with your sneakers or your leggings with a headband. These small details can go a long way to boost your confidence.

Add a Fun Pattern

A fun pattern on your clothes can make you stand out and feel fashionable. Compression socks can be a great asset to your workout, helping tired and sore muscles recover faster. You can buy compression stockings for women that come in tons of cute patterns such as stripes, floral, and more. There’s no need to stop with compression socks, either. You can find sneakers, leggings, jackets, sweatshirts, and headbands with great patterns too.

Put Your Hair Up

Even if you typically prefer to wear your hair down, it’s not a great idea at the gym. Your hair will be in your face during your workout and by the end it will be soaked with sweat. Put your hair up in a high ponytail or bun before you hop on the treadmill. If you want to go the extra mile, pin back flyaways with bobby pins and give your hair a spray of hairspray so everything stays in place during your workout.

Wear Natural Makeup

While wearing makeup to the gym is a personal decision, if you choose to add a little makeup, opt for a natural look. Heavy makeup can run and smudge when you start sweating during your workout. Adding a little mascara and lip gloss can make you feel confident without running the risk of it melting down your face as you sweat.

Going to the gym doesn’t have to be a chore if you feel excited about your look. You can still feel fashionable even while working out by putting a small amount of extra effort into your clothes and makeup.
