What’s in the bag?

At the last Miss Sweetest Candy USA our celebrity guest judge Alicia Bertine asked the contestants, “What’s the importance of a model bag and what needs to be in it?” All the girls looked around and finally one answered clothes, makeup, shoes, and your winning personality. This is all true but I was surprised she left out so many things. All the girls hesitated to answer and that made me what to share what you NEED in your model bag. So all you out their reading can feel more confident and be prepared.

I started by asking my followers the Question: What’s in your model bag? I was surprised further to find most of the up and coming models didn’t have one or know what they where. Until Moni Marie Signed model with Manikin Models based right here in Jacksonville Fl. Decided she would share what she carries around. Over her 6 year of modeling, Moni has fine tuned her bag to the absolute essentials a model needs.

Moni Marie’s model bag consists of: -Nude color convertible bra -Nude strapless bra with extra lift - Spanx -Simple black pumps -Strappy holographic stilettos for runway that match any color but black -A set of “chicken cutlets” that has the clasp in the middle -Black leggings -One pair of nude and black pantyhose -A SMALL makeup bag with essentials (my shade of foundation, eyelash curler, moisturizing chapstick, oil blot sheets, and translucent powder with brush

-A water bottle but not in the bag, I carry it.

-I also have a small wrist-let (my daily purse) with the normal necessities, phone, cash, keys etc …

That’s it folks! Sometimes models have to be at location many HOURS before a runway show, so I also pack a good book, a protein bar, and headphones which I prepare my phone with some good music :) ~Moni Marie facebook.com/monimariemodelpage

Keep in mind that this is a example for beginning models and you will develop your own bag essentials like Moni did after you have the experiences to know what works and helps your unique look.
