Weekly Inspirations: A Summer Party

This week my fashion, home decor and recipe inspirations go along with a summer party theme. Whether I'm preparing to host a fiesta or not, I always find myself scrounging around for new, creative decorative ideas for hosting guests. I love the fun colors summer seems to bring out in party decor, like these inspirational photos from Anthropologie.

I love these beautiful patterns and colors that Anthropologie showcases on their website. Fun, vibrant colors are perfect for a summer get-together with friends, whether it be an outdoor barbecue or margarita happy hour.

When I cooked dinner for a few friends on Wednesday, I used a divine mini Insalata Pizza recipe which I found on Cooking Light's website. They were such a hit I had to note them in my all-time favorite recipes for party appetizer ideas.

{Note: I substituted cider vinegar for balsamic vinegar because I didn't have any at the house, and although two very different tastes they were such a hit everyone was asking for more. I also substituted white pita for whole grain as a healthy substitute, and they were just as much of a hit. Definite keeper!}
